An exclusive Launch Event showcasing Innovation, Collaboration, and the Future of Clean Shipping
GT Wings, in collaboration with Carisbrooke Shipping, University of Bristol, and supported by Innovate UK and the UK Department for Transport, proudly announces the launch of the AirWing propulsion system.
This revolutionary technology, backed by £3.7M in funding through the UK Government’s Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition Round 4 (CMDC4), aims to reduce emissions in the maritime sector by up to 30%. This groundbreaking project is set to transform the shipping industry by accelerating the transition to sustainable maritime transport.
The AirWing vessel will embark on a 50-day voyage to Canada, demonstrating the technology’s real-world impact and symbolising a significant step toward zero-emission shipping.
