Sustainable Times Launch Investment Podcast with ChicP as First Guest

The landscape of sustainable business is evolving rapidly, bringing with it a need for meaningful discussions about its future. Enter Profit Meets Purpose, the latest podcast from Sustainable Times, designed to redefine the conversation around sustainability and investment. Unlike conventional business podcasts, Profit Meets Purpose dives deep into the journeys of visionary founders shaping the future and the investors backing them. It serves as a platform for unfiltered conversations, fresh insights, and honest discussions about how business can be done better.

The podcast was born out of Sustainable Times’ core philosophy: profit with purpose. In an era where businesses must balance financial success with social and environmental responsibility, Profit Meets Purpose shines a light on the individuals and ideas leading this transformation. Through candid discussions with founders, investors, and industry leaders, the podcast explores what it truly takes to build a business that is both profitable and impactful.

Harvey Knight, founder of Sustainable Times, understands the importance of these conversations. Having spent years navigating the corporate world, he saw firsthand how financial systems often prioritise short-term gains over long-term sustainability. With an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for innovation, he launched Sustainable Times in 2019 as a platform dedicated to educating the public and driving investment in sustainable enterprises.

Since its inception, Sustainable Times has grown into two key areas. The first is a media division that informs and inspires audiences by spotlighting sustainable innovations and the companies behind them. The second is an investment and advisory branch, which connects promising startups with a network of investors ranging from institutions to family offices. By offering fundraising, sales, and marketing services to early-stage companies, Sustainable Times plays a critical role in strengthening the bridge between investors and sustainable businesses.

Profit Meets Purpose is the latest step in this journey. The podcast creates a space for the voices shaping the future of business to share their stories, insights, and challenges. These conversations go beyond surface-level discussions, diving into the realities of building businesses that serve people, the planet, and profit alike.

The podcast’s inaugural episode is now live on Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/show/4G9IQaTEGkgGcnqXvRKz5Z?si=3I0SDvciSeO6KrgjnYX4sg). The debut episode features Hannah McCollum, founder of ChicP, a brand born from her frustration with food waste in the hospitality industry and her passion for creating natural, healthy snacks. From blending chickpeas in a kitchen to building a nationwide brand, McCollum shares her journey, offering invaluable insights into fundraising, branding, and the road to achieving certifications like B Corp, Buy Women Built, and W Corp. Plus, listeners will get an inside look at how hummus made its way to Glastonbury and what really happened to Instagram’s infamous chocolate hummus.

The launch of Profit Meets Purpose marks an exciting new chapter for Sustainable Times, reinforcing its mission to inspire, connect, and drive forward the next generation of sustainable enterprises. In a world where business and impact must go hand in hand, this podcast spotlights the trailblasers making it happen.
