Vauxhall is partnering with JOLT, a global leader in EV charging and Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising, to provide free public charging for Vauxhall electric vehicle owners. This collaboration will grant Vauxhall drivers complimentary access to JOLT’s 25kW DC charging stations across North West London from February 3 to March 2, 2025—a move set to drive greater EV adoption and convenience.
During the promotional period, Vauxhall’s latest ad campaign, including the much-anticipated New Grandland Electric, will be prominently displayed across JOLT’s charging locations. Vauxhall EV owners simply need to download the JOLT app, register their vehicle, and start charging to claim the free charging.
JOLT has been making waves in the EV space by integrating free, fast charging with digital advertising, ensuring greater accessibility for urban drivers who lack home charging options. JOLT currently offers 7kWh of free daily charging, equivalent to around 30 miles of driving range. After that, users can continue charging at 35p per kWh. Since its UK launch in October 2023, JOLT has powered over 6.3 million miles of clean, sustainable travel.
Beyond the customer perks, JOLT's advertising-backed model is reshaping EV infrastructure. By incorporating digital ad screens into charging units, the company can generate revenue that helps offset charging costs, accelerating the expansion of its UK-wide charging network.
Vauxhall’s partnership with JOLT aligns with its Electric Streets of Britain initiative, a campaign launched in 2023 to address the UK’s shortage of on-street EV charging points. The initiative allows UK motorists to register their interest in installing a residential street charger near their homes via www.electricstreets.co.uk. With over 15,000 registrations across 11,500 streets, the demand for convenient charging solutions is undeniable.
This partnership also reinforces Vauxhall’s commitment to an all-electric future. As of 2024, Vauxhall has achieved full electrification across its entire vehicle lineup, making it one of the leading brands in the UK’s transition to sustainable mobility.
A pioneer in the UK automotive industry since 1903, Vauxhall has been at the forefront of electrification, becoming one of the first manufacturers to offer fully electric vans in 2021. Today, the brand boasts a fully electric lineup of cars and vans, including the UK’s best-selling electric supermini, the Corsa Electric, and a dominant 17,000-strong fleet of electric vans.
As part of Stellantis NV, Vauxhall continues to drive innovation in sustainable transport, ensuring that businesses and individuals can seamlessly transition to zero-emission mobility.
